Welcome, to Trust The Process.
I’m your host, Claudia, and in today’s episode (the first of a new season!) we are discussing the relationship between a meditation practice and following the Christian faith. Now, we go a LOT deeper than that; this episode is one that I have been meaning to dive into for a long time.
In this discussion, I’m talking you through the concept of Prana - the life-force energy that is bursting through our Beings - and the Ayurvedic science behind it and how maintaining a connection to this knowledge aids in deepening our relationship with Christ and, if you are not of Christian denomination, with God, with Source, with the Creator energy and with our Faith in general.
Now, whilst I only cut the surface of this deep and ancient Ayurvedic wisdom, I wanted the focus of this discussion to be on its simplicity and the core of it: the breath. Not only the breath as we know it, breathing in and out through the nose or mouth for the sake of it, occasionally bringing our awareness to its depth for mental relief, but its depth:
where it originates from in our body; how we ought to be breathing for optimal physiological and nervous system health; the symbiosis of our spine and our energetic health; the cohesion of the polarising Yin and Yang forces in our body that are animated, and also suppressed, through the breath and the impact that all of this has on our 360° well-being and, finally, how our breath truly is the most spiritual thing about us: our gateway to connection with God.
The breath that fuels our Spirit, that is spoken about so many times in the Bible as being our Being, the vessel through which we come back into Presence, connect to our God-given Consciousness and harness the power of the Holy Spirit to flow through us, within.
This is how I thrive in my faith beyond all measure.
Apologies for the camera cutting in & out of focus!
